PowerBar Power Gel Smoothie is a fruit energy gel designed for runners, cyclists and triathletes who need fast-available fuel during long-duration exercise. The base is 65% fruit puree from apples and mango, giving it the texture of a thick fruit smoothie rather than a conventional sweet gel. Made in Germany.

The carbohydrates come from the C2MAX blend - glucose and fructose in a 2:1 ratio. One sachet delivers 35 g of carbohydrates and sodium. The smooth, flowing consistency makes it easy to swallow even while running, without chewing.

Intended Use

This gel is designed for active adults engaged in endurance sports. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. The beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours following such exercise.

Directions

Consume 1 sachet 30-60 minutes before training or competition and/or 1 sachet every 20-45 minutes during exercise. Do not consume more than 4 sachets per day. Chase with water. This product is not a substitute for a varied diet.
